If you are
not in a rush we suggest contacting us via Email, Fax or
U.S. Postal Service. Please be certain to include your contact
information, very specific descriptions of your image needs
and any known budget perimeters for usage fees. Our office
will review your request and get back to you with our
suggestions. We are happy to answer any questions you may have
at that time.
If you have
an immediate need, we suggest calling our office. If we are on
another line or have stepped out of the office an answering
machine is available for your use.
How do I get a submission for
review? Image submissions may be acquired two ways.
We can supply original transparencies via FedEx or email
scanned thumbnail images via your requested format.
How quickly can I get a
submission? The only carrier easily available to us
is FedEx. We live in a very rural area and our FedEx cut off
time is Noon-Central Time. If we do not have your image
request in our office by early morning we will not be able to
ship it until the following day. However, please keep in mind
that we are able to scan images and send electronically.
How much is your research fee? We do
not charge a research fee. If you need images physically sent
to you we do require that you supply us with a FedEx account
number for the purpose of covering the shipping costs. If you
do not need the images sent for FedEx early morning delivery
we'd be happy to send them FedEx Standard or Second Day Air to
lower the shipping costs to you.
What image formats do you have? All of
Frank's images are digital or color transparencies - 35mm,
2.25, 2.75. 4x5 and Pano formats.
How much do you charge for image
use? Our fees are based on the end use of the image.
The more exposure an image receives, the higher the fee. For
example: an images used ¼ page or less, inside, textbook, run
of 20,000 will be charged a much lower usage fee than an image
used full page, on the cover of an Annual Report, run of
50,000.
At Frank
Oberle Photography we will make every reasonable attempt to
work within your budget. Our main goals are to provide our
clients with quality service and stock imagery at a fair
price. We fully understand that there are times when we all
need to compromise. Usage fees are something we are happy to
discuss with you before we research your image needs.
How long may I hold the images? Our
Delivery Memo states that you may keep images for up to 30
days without incurring holding fees. However, through simple
communication with our office you may hold images as long as
needed to complete your project. We are happy to waive holding
fees if you feel that 30 days is not a sufficient holding
period. All we need is a call, note or email from you!
What carrier should I use to return the images
to you? The images should be returned to us the same
way you received them - via FedEx. We have found FedEx to be
the most reliable source in our area for shipping/returning
our images.
Are your images available for décor print
use? Yes, they are! Any image available through
Frank can be made into a décor print and we will be happy to
provide you with a quote. The quote will include the price of
the print, mounted on your choice of board and shipped to a
location of your choice. Sorry, we do not provide framing or
installation. Your best bet for that service is a local
source.
Once a
selection is made, the images are sent to a professional photo
lab for print production. The time frame from placing the
order to the receipt of print is usually 2-4 weeks depending
on the labs schedule. Payment must be made in full when the
order is placed.
If you are
interested in a décor quote, please contact us with the
following information: · Print
size desired - 8"x10", 11"x14", 24"x30", 30"x40",
etc. · Print finish desired -
Color Print, matte, glossy, etc. ·
Finished Mounted size & board desired - flush, border,
Foamcore, Gatorboard, etc. ·
Your contact information and shipping location.
Due to the
possibility of damage in mounting and handling we do not sell
unmounted prints under any circumstances! If my lab damages a
print in mounting, they reprint it at no charge. If your
framer damages a print in mounting, you are out of
luck!
What forms of payment do you
accept? We accept Checks, Money Orders,
Cashiers Check, PayPal, MasterCard, Visa and
Discover.
